November: A Season of Gratitude: Thankful for the Journey and my People

As Thanksgiving approaches, it’s a great time to pause and reflect on all the good things in our lives. We live in a world where negativity often takes center stage, but it’s so important to take a moment to appreciate the simple things that truly matter. Sometimes, it’s the small acts—like sharing a smile or offering a kind word—that can make a huge difference.

For me, this season of thankfulness feels especially meaningful as I think about the support I’ve received on my business journey. Starting a business is no small feat, and there have been plenty of moments filled with stress and uncertainty. What’s kept me going, though, is the incredible support of the people around me. So, I want to take this opportunity to express my gratitude.

Family

First and foremost, I’m incredibly thankful for my parents, my sister, and my boyfriend. They’ve been with me from day one, not just cheering me on, but truly helping me through it all. My mom, Lisa, has been my rock in this business, handling the backend and making sure everything runs smoothly so I can focus on design. I honestly couldn’t do this without her.

And to my dad, whose advice and steady support have kept me grounded, thank you. To my sister and my boyfriend, they have been my rock, always supportive, encouraging, and ready to help when I need it most, especially as I navigate the challenges and joys of growing Bonae Interiors.

"Rejoice always, pray continually, give thanks in all circumstances; for this is God's will for you in Christ Jesus" - 1 Thessalonians 5:16-18

Thank YOU for Being Part of This Journey

Looking back on this past year, I can’t help but feel thankful for all the people who have supported me, both personally and professionally. Whether it’s family, friends, clients, or partners, each one of you has played a role in helping me grow this business, and for that, I’m truly grateful.

So, this Thanksgiving, I just want to say thank you. Thank you for being there for me and with me, for believing in me, and for reminding me that I’m not alone in this journey. Your support means everything, and I appreciate each and every one of you. (you know who you are :))

Let’s not forget that even though the world can be a tough place sometimes, we all have the ability to make it a little brighter—with kindness, positivity, and just a little extra effort. Wishing everyone a warm and happy Thanksgiving filled with love, gratitude, and time spent with the people who matter most.
